Cold, Cold, Cold!

Hi there. Just a quick post tonight.

According to the kiddos at CC Meeting this morning, the thing that drives Ms. Erickson the most crazy is: getting in her bubble of space, people copying off others, class clowns, shouting out, not being respectful, guessing, lack of effort, not believing in themselves, negativity, not caring, and bullying. However, the one thing that drives me absolutely insane is when kids will not even try! We talked in great length about this during our morning meeting. Kids have got to learn to take risks and make mistakes. That is the story of life. It is why life is so fun! If everything was natural and easy, life would be boring! I am hoping to see more kids try things first before asking for help now. Great lesson Rusty!

Our observers from Round Up came today. They said that they were very impressed with how independent this class is and how well they do with the classroom routines. It was great fun having them here to share all that we do in E4 for the day! Thanks ladies!

Homework: Math review 18. It has two fraction problems. We have done a few in class, but if they need help please assist them or they can wait till tomorrow and I will help.

We started to write our Operation Cookie Drop letters today. The kids really started to get into it, especially when I showed them the types of cookies they can order for their soldier. We all got hungry! Remember, last day is Friday! I have gotten money from: Natalie, Chloe, Austin, Alexis, Brayden, Olivia, Andrew, and Kayla. Elijah is short 50 cents. :0) The rest I am still waiting for. No worries until Friday! :0) Ask your child how their letter went today. If they can tell you why they might get itchy when writing a letter write what makes them itchy in the planner for $20 tomorrow. :0)

Kids need recorders and gym shoes tomorrow. They also need hats and warm clothes. They were freezing at recess. Brrr, Brrr, Brrr.

Have a fantastic night!
